The same developers recently released a KOTOR2 port on Switch that you literally can't finish because of new bugs. Their other ports are known to be absolute barebones.

So the actual question is, how do you give these guys a real remake to work on.

Wasn't there another dev studio that pitched for a kotor remake, but were turned down in favor of Aspyr? I think they dropped some slides at the time on twitter? Wonder if they'll get the call...

Google Play Music also had a long wind-down period (I think almost a year) where you could export your library and/or port it to YTM.

Tutorials are boring to play and even more boring to watch. With that said it looks decent overall but just like the other Arkham games.

Those Arkham games were always just 6/10 or 7/10's for me so it doesn't look very exciting but if you're fan of the series this is probably what you want.

I've only played AK (because it was a PS freebie) and really enjoyed it, but always wanted to play AA and AC still as well.  I have the Collection, but it drives me nuts that these are locked 30fps.    Holding out for some freak update on PS somehow.  I like playing them around Halloween for some reason.

This game started on PS4/Xbone, it was supposed to be crossgen but it got delayed because of COVID and they dropped the last gen versions. I doubt they did any kind of real overhaul to the tech though. I'll probably be interested in it around $30 or so. Maybe $40 if people say it's great. I trust WB Montreal after Arkham Origins.

Why does it graphically look worse than Arkham Knight? Is this a different team?

It doesn't even look like the quality of the models or anything is lower. The art direction is just a lot worse. Like a final bit of polish is missing to actually make it look good.

Rocksteady made Arkham Knight (and Asylum and City), they are now making an unseen Suicide Squad game that may or may not be set in the Arkham universe. This is WB Montreal (Arkham Origins singleplayer) doing this and this is not set in the Arkham universe.

How the fuck does Switch pro controller have insane battery life but PS4/PS5 controllers are shit battery life?

I'm like 25 hours into XB3 on a single charge of the pro controller and it still shows full battery. Meanwhile I use the PS5 and watch a movie for two nights and the controller is down to one bar.

It's pretty pathetic how bad the battery life is in the PS controllers. Don't know what the fuck they are doing wrong but they need to learn some stuff from Nintendo there.

Not every company has access to magic.

But yeah it's crazy, I can do like 3 missions of Ace Combat tops with rumble on an Xbox Series X controller with fresh batteries.
The Switch controller? I usually spend more time searching for the charging cable than actually charging.

Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is finally coming to PS4 on 8/31.

Can't wait to download, spend a couple hours making a few characters, play for 30 minutes, then never touch again

You mean between the OG and New Genesis?  As far as I could recall, it added more dial menus and d-pad selection menus built around a controller more, but still relatively convoluted.

OTOH, my Switch Lite itself seems to drain battery in Sleep mode when it has no business doing any fucking thing. Leave it on a desk for 2 days, it's at 30%. WTAF?

Edge reviews are interesting.

Gave Live-a-Live a 9, XB3 an 8, but most of all they gave the new game by Her Story creator Sam Barlow, Immortality a 10/10 which is pretty rare from them. Guess I'll be playing that next after XB3.

It’s weird my Switch Pro and Joycons drain at idle faster than anything else. Say I leave a DS4 on my shelf for a month without touching it, usually good to go when I pick it up. Switch stuff is usually dead or dying. At least nothing is as bad as the Wii U tablet.
