I was curious if it was more prevalent than in america but wikipedia says otherwise

I can't help but think there are more homeschooled kids than Wiki states. It's quite prevalent in the south and has gained more popularity over the years, plus various states have passed Tim Tebow laws allowing them to participate in private/public school sports and specific classes.

I played basketball at a Baptist private school while being homeschooled and led the JV team to a 9-1 season. But right before the MAC tournament I was told I couldn't participate because I was homeschooled, and I couldn't even travel with the team to Ohio. I may not like Tebow's nonsense or hype but I'll always respect the fact that he paved the way for things to change in that regard

I only knew of one home schooled kid when I was doing those nerd camps, taking the SATs, etc. His parents were both university professors and he was simply on another level in terms of intelligence. It was crazy.

There was a lot of talk about people homeschooling their kids around here a few years back because Kentucky has such messed up educational standards. I only knew of one person who was home-schooled when I was younger and she graduated when she was 16.

She went to college for a couple of years and then dropped out, moved to Houston and shacked up with a dude. I don't know if anyone has heard from her since...

So I've got people trying to hook me up with women from two different churches now. One woman goes to church with an old friend of mine, she's older than me, has no kids, but has a bunch of animals (cat lady), and she also likes to wear velvet pantsuits...

The other one is either the same age as me or a couple years younger, but looks like she's nearing forty, has a newborn, works two jobs, and the baby-daddy just up and left her a few months before the kid was born. The baby-daddy is a black guy so she gets shunned by half of the church because she was with a black dude (see: racism in the bible belt).

Wow I just bombed my quantum final. I knew I didn't do well but I ended up with a 49% (class average was 47%) making my final grade 69%. I'm going to have to walk away with a B+ if I can't convince him to give me a bunch of points, it was so much harder than the midterm/quizzes.

I spent every single second of the three hours, and a few more.

hey, i might be going to UI-Urbana for my library science degree. but I might do the online program so I don't have to live in the middle of nowhere, hours away from chicago. $:-\$

Yep. combine the two to be a specialized "law librarian." Not as much pay, but easy to find work, and only regular shifts if I'm at a university, and you get to keep your soul. in exchange for another year and a half of school and debt, but i'll take it.

It requires more thought to move around and rewrite various clauses and to remove unnecessary words. Yesterday I came across a 300-word+ provision that was a single sentence ending with the words "commits an unfair labour practice." This means that the subject of the fucking sentence, along with various clauses and prepositional phrases, was about 300 words.

An x commits an unfair labour practice if y or z. God.
Subject, verb, object, modifying clause expressing a sufficient condition. Boom.
