yeah...spent 2 and a half hours on my essay questions for my last exam. Had about 30 minutes for 30 multiple choice questions...both sections are weighted equally. can't wait to see if I lucked out or not! I had to guess about 10, only skimmed/half-read a few more, and confidently answered maybe 10 out of 30. yay.
Do all your exams include multiple-choice questions? These on an exam would prevent my profs from trying to jam every single section in the case book into the fact-scenario.
nah, it's up to the professor. They aren't fun! At least in an essay, you can partially address, get partial credit, and show you understand what's going on, even if you don't know the exact terms and such. You could have a string of bad luck on MCs and get fucked.
But really, the whole 1 test at the end thing is ridiculous in itself. There should be 3 or 4 tests per semester, particularly in 1L.
