I've actually gone 11 days without a drink which is like a world record for me. Just try taking a break, you'll feel great in no time. I've got a friend visiting from Australia this week so I'll have some beers with him no-doubt, but then try and abstain again for as long as I can.

The trick is to just take it one day at a time. Don't say you're never gonna drink again or you're not gonna drink for say, two weeks. Just say "I'm not having a drink today." This method really worked for me

Its mostly cause I've spend everytime drinking just binge drinking and I end up as either an angry asshole, an annoying douche or my problems come out in public. And I'd rather not have that for a while, but thanks for the advice man!

day so far: woke up 4:30, unable to see shit. turned on the lights, suddenly felt like I had ejaculated to highway flares directly into my eyeballs. Realized I had several symptoms of acute glaucoma and hauled ass across the district to the emergency room-equivalent in my socialist haven only to wait till 10 before getting in to a doctor's office. There I got stabbed with a needle in the eye and had some gooey shit smeared on my eye - wasn't glaucoma though! just a rift in some tissue or something that made me go temporally blind. Now I got a patch on my right eye and walking around looking like a right druggie. Hurts like fuck when I'm looking at something too bright.


And it's currently 12:30 and it's a beautiful, sunny spring day. :'(
