Anyone know how to get rid of a google redirect virus? I've tried everything for hours to no avail. Reset the router, flushed dns, ran various scans, used ATF cleaner to get rid of internet files, etc.

I don't really get why people get suckered in by wildly inflated salaries. Just go to the bureau of labor statistics for the job that you're looking at and see how much people are actually making. If it is within the ballpark, it's probably legitimate. If it is 2x or 3x what someone in that field is making as an entry level employee, then assume it is bullshit.

On the old GAF, there would be an annual "Should I take this knife-selling job?" thread whenever they sent out their recruitment letters to HS graduates.

A friend of a friend actually got pretty deep into it back in the day, really selling the crap out of those knives.

Try watching online lectures in conjunction with what you prof is teaching. Calc 1 is pretty standard but the order the stuff comes in might be slightly different.

She had carrots all over the house this weekend. My mom kept giving them to her and all she would do is bring them up to my room and leave them on the floor. That being said she was super snuggly this weekend. I think she spent like a quarter of the weekend sleeping on me while I read or watched movies, so all is forgiven.

I went to a book store today to buy Game of Thrones and expected to see them laid out with a "illiterate tv watching plebs, look here!" sign at front. I had to search around and around. There was a section titled "adapted to movies/tv" filled with Twilight, Girl with Dragon Tattoo, Hunger Games, etc. but nothing of Game of Thrones. I traveled past the high school girls reading vampire fiction (shockingly, this is a real thing and not a comical stereotype) and middle-age men who inhabit the second floor, as a way to spend time away from their wife and kids, and finally find the series. It's tucked in the back of a fantasy section and there are only three copies. The price is double that of Amazon and they aren't even in good condition; I can even order the four books out for the price of one and a half at the store.

Internet shopping is ridiculously convenient and awesome.
