It is PISSING DOWN RAIN here right now. Despite living in California for 10 months, I haven't needed an umbrella the entire time. It has misted up a few times, but rain has only occurred a couple times so far, and it's been at night. This is the first daytime rain we've had in a while, it feels like. Maybe it just rained when I was already at work and I didn't notice. But it's seriously coming down.
