Well I got weirded out today. I went to the local high school football championship game (at Ford Field) with my dad and my uncle. Shortly after arriving at the stadium he introduced me to his 17 year old grand daughter (on his wife's side, thus no blood relation) and said "it's not every day you get to meet a handsome, eligible bachelor. Exchange numbers, she'll be 18 in a few months!" She seemed like she was willing to give me her number but I was like "nahhh, I'm good..."

I firstly wanted to apologize for my comments yesterday, I honestly meant no offense. I realize that I worded what I said wrongly. I wasn't trying to stereotype gay and transgendered individuals. I've got nothing but love for you all, whoever/where-ever you maybe. It's gotta be hard finding your voice in this world, and I have to give you props for going out each day and being yourselves. That takes a stronger person than I and most people that are out there today.

My thoughts were more akin to what Lennedsay was saying about her role reversal and what T exp was saying about our times currently and how that will change in the future. I'm not a bigoted individual who thinks that that's what's gonna destroy the moral fabric of society or anything. I just think that ambiguity of sex and gender roles is just starting to come into light in society. I just see that there could be some downfall to it all, maybe not as dramatic as I envisioned it. But whatever it could be there's always two sides to the coin.

I hate having to tip toe around what's social acceptable and that of what isn't. Especially when it comes to idea's and personal belief's. I'm all for freedom of speech, and debating idea's. So if I offended anyone by what I said, again I'm sorry for going against the grain of what is socially acceptable. I just hope we can continue to share our thoughts without fear of prosecution and ridicule. It can sometimes give a new perspective to reflect on to, and sometimes can open one's eyes as it has done so with myself.

No worries G, you may have worded it wrongly but even so we all know you never meant harm, still thanks for clearing things up on your end.

Here's where I agree with all the gender ambiguity people: Just cause a man changes his babies diapers or might be the cook in the family or doesn't have a job requiring manual labor doesn't make him less of a man, and just cause a woman is the breadwinner or likes strong beer or doesn't like pink doesn't make her a mannish butch. Those qualities are very arbitrary and have no indication on a persons gender or whether they fail their "natural requirement". Where I disagree lies in: There will always be key things that are very different between men and women whether it's sub-consciously or not, whether it involves how different things we go through in puberty, or different sex roles, etc. which do dictate differences in the future. Others are societal roles, morals and ideals while they are constructed and a lot of times stupid it is still implemented by some in very young minds through school, tv, internet, etc.

In the end they aren't that major, sure. But it doesn't change that fact much, unless we evolve past it in the future. Women tend to be better than men at certain stuff and vice versa, which in turn dictated the roles through our survival throughout the years, now that's changing cause the world is changing, which is a good thing. But just because a dude is a stay at home dad doesn't mean he isn't fit to fight in WW2, and a woman who's a soldier and UFC fighter doesn't mean that she can't be pretty.

Personally I like to be tough and in some ways I can be seen as a man's man(at least I try to be) but the kind of woman I want is someone who has a degree, a job, is strong and independent who can take care of herself. I don't like needy people much.

Sadly, Dana thinks there shouldn't be any women's MMA, so there are no women in the UFC. There are plenty of women in MMA, there should be more, and someone should be making money on it to prove Dana wrong.

You're a bit out of the loop, chrono.  UFC is bringing in at least a few women's fights in 2013, naturally featuring Ronda Rousey.  Not sure if they'll be committed to a women's division for the long term, but they're giving it a shot.

Feel better though deciding not to apply there.

That shit is rough.  I've recently began training new hires on our policies, software, etc.  I always feel like I'm going to shit a brick because the Director of my department will randomly come sit in on my training sessions and as luck will always have it she will sit in on the portions that I'm the least confident in. lulz.  Luckily though I've never fouled up too much.  Except once I created a pretty fancy ass spreadsheet report and when she came in I was like "Aw yeah.  Watch this shit" but when I pulled it up none of my formulas were working and I was like "aw hell no "  Turns out the program I pulled the report from throws shit in unicode text automatically, so when you save in excel it only saves the values.  Not the formulas
