I almost handed her my credit card. Was going to make a comment about how I keep handing my card out despite card readers. A good ice breaker to cashiers but she was so disruptive to me I just fucking held back.

After hanging up, annoying user then calls right back to complain about something else in the mailbox, before I have chance to do anything about the first problem, which was resolved after finding out that the other user was uploading files and CC'ing that mailbox for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Annoying user also called later on to complain about how slow the big, bloated mailbox was. My co-worker got this call and ran down the same list of why this is, what to try, blah blah blah etc. etc. that annoying user is always told and ends the call. Literally right after this, annoying user calls again, gets the other co-worker in the office, and proceeds to complain about the exact same thing. I see him roll his eyes and start saying "LIKE WE LITERALLY *JUST* TOLD YOU..." as I was walking out of the room.

Was at the gym today talking with one of the women lifters when some dude walked by her, put his hand on her trap, near her neck, and gave it a little squeeze. The look on her face which he did not see due to being behind her, yet I was center stage for, was a quick mixture of surprise and then disgust. I cringed internally. Dudes tend to get all apeish too when talking with other women. Another time when I was talking about squat form with another woman lifter the dude in the rack near us started clapping really loudly and whoo'ing like Ric Flair, seemingly, to hype himself up. Dude was straight quiet before and after. He was also talking with her earlier. Some goofy territorial shit.

Hey, I've got these software update notifications on my screen. They keep popping up. Do I need them?

Let me check them for you. Ah, OK- it says that both of them have been installed already.

Then why do I keep getting this update pop-up??

There's a big Windows update that you need to install. But you don't want to do that, unless you have time, because it can take up to an hour and a half to go through.

How was I supposed to know that?

You just click on the prompt when it pops up, or you go into your system tray and click on the icon here.

You click on where it says "OPERATING SYSTEMS."

Then you click on "Windows Update" and click "INSTALL." (Note- nothing else is displayed here.)

But why does it not tell me this?

It has been telling you this. That's why you keep getting this prompt.

This has been prompting everyone for a few weeks now. You just need to run it when you have the chance.

Heard a truck stop outside a moment ago, followed by a big THUD. Looked out the window and watched the postman take out one huge box and just throw it on the ground. He then picks it up and sort of "rolls" it along the ground, making big THUD noises each time he turns it, then he kind of slams it up against a neighbor's door hard. He goes back into the truck and gets another equally-large box and proceeds to do the same thing.

Pretty sure these were pieces of furniture and the boxes were too thin to have any kind of padding, so he probably fucked something up. I don't like the people who got this stuff, though, so fuck 'em.

I bought one of those rechargable foot callus removers for my hands a couple of months ago, it is a game changer. My hands get all torn up after deadlifts and after I file them down they are like new again. But it's meant for feet, I highly recommend it, it's like $12.

my sister had really bad eczema growing up. It was mostly her left hand, I remember it all being cracked and scaly. When we came to US she got better treatment and is good now, but she has to take showers no longer than 5 min. I didn't have anything until far in my adulthood. I also developed a crustacean allergy in my adulthood from cleaning raw shrimp.

You'll be pleased to know my feet are reaching baby butt softness. Most of the skin has peeled off and new, soft skin has appeared. I hope it lasts.

My heels were so annoyingly dry that every time I put socks on or took them off it felt like my socks clinged to my heels like velcro, and pumice and foot cream didn't help. I actually read somewhere that using foot files etc will make the skin on your feet grow thicker and harder (

) but exfoliating socks just takes the dead skin away in a gentle yet gross manner. And now I have feet so soft Atra would worship them
