Got a call at work today from an outside line:
Him: I work for [Company]- we're right down the street from you guys.
Me: How can I help you?
Him: I'm the postmaster/webmaster there. One of the people here has been trying to email someone in your firm but it keeps getting rejected. Maybe you guys are blocking us.
Me: OK, would you be able to forward the bounceback?
Him: No- I don't have anything to give you. The guy who keeps getting rejections has been trying to email you guys for a month and is pretty upset about it now.
He doesn't want to give me any information.Me:
Me: Uh...?
Him: Yeah.
I don't have anything for you. I understand exactly what you mean but he doesn't get it.
Me: I'm not really sure how I can help you here then...? I can check to see if anything from your company reached our email server if that helped. Let me see...uh...nope. Nothing over the past month and a half. I'm sorry, but I can't really do anything for you without information. If you can get something from the guy, please send it us at [email] and we can check into it for you.
Him: OK, I'll see what I can do. Thanks for your help.
