I agree, but it seems like some of them at GAF start things as a means to bait people into getting banned. That doesn't seem like a healthy way to run a board.

Evilore keeps a tighter leash on the bannings than you would think, too. He gave certain mods more leeway because they had been mods so long, but the newer guys (aka the current team minus blackace and bishoptl) pretty much have every ban inspected to make sure it's not random bullshit. If he doesn't agree with it, he'll undo it. Dude runs a tight ship.

I haven't read GAF in a few years so I all know about Dragona is based on the stories here, which made her look very unreasonable and petty. Unless EV was lying out of his ass, the stuff about how Dragona was using her mod accounts can't be spinned any other way other than she should have been kicked out a long time ago.

. Luckily I both have particular tastes and love to be the contrarian. Nothing is more stimulating than a good argument, yummy. I dunno, Opiate comes across as someone who can separate his preferences and the reality of a situation (at least by my lazy assessment), which is a rarer trait in this world than I would like. I can say he's a superficial facsimilie of my preferred forum antics.

I think the current crop of mods are probably the best that GAF has had in years. Regardless of their post quality, sp0rsk, Dragona, and Vennt were fucking terrible moderators/administrators.

The mods decisions are their decisions, but Evilore reviews *all* of them (nowadays anyway), and if he disagrees with them, they get overturned. All the moderators who could or would ban willy-nilly aren't there anymore, so if you get banned now, sorry to say, you probably fucked up.

You misunderstand Lager, Kosma was dumb enough to major in a useless academia, practices stupid unsafe behavior and in general has no leg to stand on during a discussion 75% of the time. A trap is a deliberate action. A trap is done on purpose. By calling someone transsexual a trap, you've essentially devolved someone's entire life experience as a means of trapping frail minded males into thinking they're female just so they can sleep with them; it is vain and egotistical without one thought of the other party's feelings. When you consider the amount of transsexuals that are beaten, abused or even killed because of just being transsexual, it's pretty understandable, but that doesn't always make it right. In my opinion, if you're transsexual, you should tell the person before anything romantic (such as kissing) even happens to see if they're okay with it.

The trap here comes purely from the experience and reality of the unknowing side. It doesn't imply a deliberate action. Getting married too young is a "trap", but does not imply any deliberate action upon the other spouse. It is the situation that is the trap and both sides could have no intention for it to be so.
