To be fair, a lot of big sites have their own share of clashes of personalities and drama behind the scenes. It's not always lovey dovey, and it's gonna happen at point or the other.

In comparison to Ass Effect where the writing is "choose your own adventure... PSYCHE! Just kidding, we choose what your Shepard really did and your choices only get a 10 minute mention in the sequel with even shittier writing!" People seem to give a shit about which alien vagina they're going to fuck off camera, it seems.

I don't know. To me it reeks of another example of making up the stuff as you go along and at the drop of a hat. Either you have a policy on something or you don't. Then its very easy to avoid these situations.

Not saying he should have let the thread stay. If someone threatens me as a website I'd probably fold in a second. But then I'd also probably try to stay pretty consistent about things in the first place. This happens alot on GAF. They make up the shit as they go along and then switch it up on the fly. Wouldn't bother me so much if Evilore didn't chest-thump about his site.

Probably not. Although leaking the entire plot of an unreleased game doesn't make any publisher happy.
