Valve rarely ever makes a new original ip themselves, they coddle original ideas people already made and then sort of enhance them.

Thats not exactly true Stringy. There are a ton of legit reasons to not do business with EA. It's not a game quality thing it's fucking over customers by shutting down servers while still selling online passes for those games and such.

The online passes argument is a legit argument.

But watch that video? Online passes is like, one fraction of the overall argument.

And EA is not the only pub making online passes. You could easily throw your ire at companies like Square Enix.

fwiw, Turtle rock isn't even at valve.  I bet they'd like to be, seeing as how they're with THQ now.  They've worked with Valve for a while before L4D (they're the Counter Strike people).
