- Reinvents the wheel with a master stroke that drives sales right out of the gate

If they sold 32 million through the end of 2018... they might actually make it. I think they had 15 million sold at the end of 3/32/2018

That's what I was thinking. They have sold almost 1 million in Japan since 1 Jan and sales in the West have been good too. Probably just miss it I think, but they will get close.

The chart from Nintendo's report only shows games that sold a million copies in the previous fiscal year [along with their lifetime totals].

I did some digging, and the best estimate I can give you for XB2's total sales is somewhere between 1.53 million [it's total sales as of September 2018] and 2.64 million [the total sales of Mario Tennis Aces, the #10 best-selling game on Switch as reported on Nintendo's website].

One could argue that making such an alternative history is blackwashing (or femalewashing or whatever bs they included in the game) history itself, cultutal appropriation of a historic event, the biggest conflict ever.

You could say that is hugely disrespectful to the memory of those involved.

Anyhoo Battlefield was best around 1-2 and idk why they want to stray from that gritty real world formula (anf afaik bf was always the arcadey game already compared to Arma) anf go down this herp game bs.

Checked in on Media Create, the only non-Switch game in the top 10 is the PS4 rerelease of Yakuza 5.

Also this was kinda obvious a few years ago but Yokai Watch has completely collapsed. Another corpse of a "Pokemon killer" on the pile.
