Did him about 25 times, and got four keys in the first six runs (and all three keys at that), then none for the rest of the time. RNG is not only a cold bitch, but she's also a cocktease.

Finally got a hardcore barb up to 60, been grinding paragon levels now too. After a couple of good drops, my HC barb has better toughness and dmg than PD's softcore barb!

Joe- once I get my HC paragon level to 20 I'm going to prioritize keys before release. I've got one infernal machine banked, after we both have a bunch we should just blow through all of our machines in one night trying to craft DEM RINGZ.

Played for 30 min today and went from 23k dmg to 37k and got two legenderies killing diablo.

Some nice changes to the game but it also feels like welfare epics they gave out in wow after the first expansion.

Its a blizzard template, when an expansion comes out devaluate all old stuff and give newbs some amazing gear with a better colour.

I think I'm done grinding until the expansion comes out. My Monk's oscillating between 55-60k DPS, 1.3-1.5 mil toughness, and 1500-1800 healing. Torment I is pretty much on faceroll status. There's no sense overgrinding since it's all gonna be replaced at L70 anyway...

I will always, always chase upgrades. I love grinding and finding upgrades for my characters, even if they're just incremental or with the way things are now, lateral "upgrades" that just let me play the game in a new way with different skills, etc.

I'm fully aware that not everyone enjoys that, though.

Before RoS comes out, this is on my checklist:

-Get to lv 20 Paragon in HC (currently 11)
-Get to lv 100 Paragon in SC (currently 90)
-Craft one new Hellfire Ring

Loot 2.0 impressions:

-New difficulty choices are good, they do seem to feel a bit mechanic. Its like something that should be "under the hood". Maybe the game is only targeting a specific crowd now that doesnt care for this.
I would have liked to see that I can just start a new character and be challenged without experimenting which difficulty suits me.

-Like the map and that you click on waypoints on it, makes it more organic. Very nice touch.

-loot is good! But what the f at all the legendary drops. Really reminds me of when epicd got devaluated in WoW. There Blizza made epics the new rares after a while just to keep people happy (to remedy this they added armor rankings so your welfare epic was still just a rare really except in name). I see the same happening here.

-paragon stuff is really cool

-having an unplayable class in the character selection screen is a cheapo dick move, esp if you are charging 39 euro for a tiny expansion

-microstutter seems to be gone

The price for the expansion is in line with the rest of Blizz's recent expansions, and while new content wise Act 5 may not be long, Adventure mode in general and bounties and rifts in particular completely change how people play the game.

I'm also confident they'll add some sort of ladder/season thing in a future patch to pacify the idiots that like measuring their e-peens.

They've been very heavily hinting at ladders for a while. I think there's even a picture of some devs with ladders on Twitter somewhere. The GAF thread has that stuff.

I understand that some people love ladders, but for me they're the same thing as pvp... just something I don't give a shit about. I know that for some people, that motivates them to play more, blah blah blah... but unless it's going to be something like PoE where it changes the gameplay in a fundamental, noticeable way and gives you tangible rewards for playing, I just don't care. I will never understand the e-peen mentality.

Expert seems to be the difficulty (at least now) that the game should have had from the beginning.

Im level 18 in 2 hours with this amazing xp boost.

PvP can be about skills if you don't factor in gear.

It's why people like COD and BF.

Guy I used to work with has Paragon level 264. I think thats pretty high no? We played together at launch. My Paragon level is like 8.

Spent about 4 hours farming keys last night with some bros. When Nekarat dropped a leg staff once, I was so pissed, it's like "I don't want this shit, I want a KEY!"

They wanted to pop a couple of portals, and I ended up getting one (!) crafting component though, so it was time well spent! I still got a couple of portals in the stash.

Also hit Paragon 72. *flex*

You could spend a few hours farming the materials, maybe longer since apparently the drop rate of the hardest to obtain material (Gibbering Gemstone) is bugged in 2.0, making it even harder to get.
