I personally think that they did swing the pendulum back too far. Limited clan trading (or crafting for clan members, even) should be fine. 

At this point, if you want to get a finished set you're basically going to have to grind a whole shit ton, which rewards the players who put a bunch of time into the game. I'm more or less fine with that.

Edit: CotA is pretty safe on Hard, I did a few runs and leveled to 50.

I don't get why the XP grind is so important all of a sudden. If you pick THAT as your carrot to pull you through the grinding then I don't know. The Paragon bonus isn't exactly essential.

It's not. These fucking people will ALWAYS pick whatever Blizz is doing as the new thing to bitch about. The nature of the game and Blizz's stance on is that whatever the dominant thing is, it won't be for long. These fucking sperglords can't accept that.

Like, I played a CM wizard for a long time and had a shit ton of fun doing it. Then they nerfed it to oblivion by removing the passive that powered the build. I didn't bitch and whine though, I figured out the most effective build I could put together with the gear I had and ran with that. These people find one thing that's the most optimal thing to do at the time (Mira runs, CotA runs, whatever) and when it gets nerfed IT'S THE FUCKING END OF THE WORLD all of a sudden.

Diablo was all about PVP! Why can't we have pvp? Blizz sucks!

My goals personally for RoS are: level to 70 asap with a wizard, do bounties and rifts for upgrades. I'll level a crusader in softcore and hardcore as a secondary thing.

I got absurdly lucky with my HC barb- my first two leg drops once I hit 60 were an Immortal King's set gloves and then the main hand weapon he's got, which is dope.

Just did a quest reset and speed run on Normal with my DH for shits n giggles, took me probably 2 1/2 hours, maybe a bit less to completely clear the game. Got 5 legendaries in that time span, including Diablo's guaranteed drop. 2 of em were actually ok!

I decided to roll a monk on hardcore and I've actually been having a lot of fun! I was surprised to find you have to start over with the blacksmith and you get a different stash. Hardcore indeed.

Yeah, you look fine now- comparable stats (less toughness by a bit) than my hardcore barb, and I've been running him on Master. You could probably fuck around in torment 1 if you want, might take you a while to kill elites tho.

It's too bad the AH is down and my gear long since sold, my overstacked Spirit regen Monk could use infinite Sweeping Wind + movement bonus to beat the game in about 45 minutes.

Creepy and I ironmanned Act V. We got 4 Legendaries each during the run. My paper DPS went from 50k to 130k. :-O mostly thanks to Malthael dropping this staff!

I screwed around more after we were done- did a couple of bounty runs and a rift. I think at first, doing bounty runs on normal is the way to go- just crank em out and get your caches and rift stones. I'm gonna bank rift stones until I'm comfortable on Torment 1... which I probably already am, because after my spell buffs, my paper dps is like 330k now, to say nothing of the 43% extra damage my lightning skills do
