R.I.P. Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. :'(
Watched most of Raw last night. Considering that this was the go-home show before Summer Slam, it was pretty
. Just an absolute snoozer with no real hype. It was nice having Renee Young doing color commentary in place of Coachman, though. Too bad that's not permanent.
The biggest things on the show were Heyman coming out and trying to become Roman's agent and then SURPRISE BUT NOT REALLY he sprays something in Roman's eyes and then after what seems like way too long and Roman stumbling around doing a bad acting job of pretending to be blinded, out comes Brock to beat him up. ZZZZzzzzz.
Then the main event segment was Angle coming out with Dolph Ziggler (who now looks like 2003 Evolution-era HHH in disco clothes or something) and Drew for the official Intercontinental Championship contract signing. SNORE. Rollins appears to be a no-show, so Dolph takes the mic and cuts a five minute promo that nobody gives a shit about -because he's Dolph- and then SURPRISE AGAIN IT'S ROLLINS and he's late because he was helping SURPRISE RETURN BUT ALSO NOT REALLY Dean Ambrose get to the arena. Dean, who has facial hair and has chopped off most of his hair, now looks like he's in his 50s and they go after the heels to close out the show.
Pretty bad, 'E. Pretty bad. Even for you guys.
Dirt sheets this morning are also saying that house shows are advertising Roman vs. Braun for future shows, so I guess one of them is going heel. Hope it's Roman. But it won't be.
