I like how some NeoGAF mod / admin finds enjoyment in poking fun at autism. He/she did not even pretend to rise above the level of grade-schoolers calling each other "distinguished mentally-challenged." Perhaps the more amusing aspect of it is that in his attempt to be clever, whoever it was that made the title change did it in defense of an utterly shite film that was made for nerds of below average intelligence.
Nice work! Let's keep making fun of people with Asperger's, autism, and mental distinguished mentally-challenged.
Also, while I don't necessarily agree with the demands for the moderator who changed the thread title to be banned or stripped of their moderator power; it's using a disorder which some of us may suffer from, not of our own will, as an insult, putting down those who suffer from it. Yes, it may also be used in 'this dangerous world', but so are other derogatory terms such as 'queer' and 'distinguished black fellow', and neither of those are acceptable on this forum (for good reason I might add) as they are (or have the potential to be) quite insulting and demeaning. Of course it is up to the moderators as to whether or not the title is changed (again) but implying that those who don't wish to demean others are living in a bubble, and thus should be ok with the demeaning of others, seems quite odd to me.
