Having a "slant towards the consumer" means more to me than just news stories. It means interacting with members of the site.  Finding out what they want and being nimble enough to move with that. It also means playing videogames (gasp!).  Maybe 1 staff member and 4 subscribers on one team, another staff members and 4 more subscribers on the other team... and play a best out of 7 series of Titanfall (with multiple streams from both sides).  There's many ideas we are fleshing out to make this site more than just news - we really want it to be one of the smartest sites on the internet and we hope to attract those types of gamers to the site and our forums. We also want to play games together. The other sites can have the system wars.

i usually open a couple of tabs of new vids from the front page, so i just clicked on that one and didn't really get a good look at it until i switched tabs and realized what i was watching a couple of secs in.. 

i reported the video and sent an email to xvideos but that shit was still up last time i checked

you can actually report the video without being on the actual page. when i realized it was cp i quickly closed the tab and just went to the contact us page and sent them a message with the pasted link of the video and a nasty message for whoever reads those emails

A shithead troll complained to duckroll after NBA-GAF repeatedly called him an idiot for his shithead trolling, and duckroll banned a few of the posters who were involved with it. A bunch of others called out the moderation for that shit, and they all got banned. At that point, something like 40% of the top posters had been taken out, and Evilore closed the thread for a few weeks. The main community created their own NBA forum, and 90% of them don't seem to post in the NBA thread on GAF anymore. They've been replaced with a bunch of personality-less dweebs, and the classic NBA-GAF humor is completely gone.

You forgot the part about Blackace reopening the thread (?) and getting demodded for it.
