And yea, publishers may be abandoning ship but that doesn't hurt the WiiU cause you can't hurt what's already dead.

Nintendo will keep doing their own thing and they will surely get back up, either by selling tons of NFC and resurrecting the WiiU or by building their infrastructure from now on leading to their next console.

And when Nintendo will start selling tons again, because only they can make it sell tons, not any third party, see the Wii if in doubt, then the third parties will jump back in.

Publishers actively banked on the Wii U failing, and treated the Wii U audience like trash as a result. Mind you, this is the successor to the most successful system last gen (again, another platform that third parties actively dropped their fecal matter on), and yet it was relegated to "practically non-existent" status from the get-go.

Some are shocked by Ubisoft's move, but I'm not. Once Rayman Legends was delayed to keep it competitive with the 360 & PS3 versions, but the same courtesy wasn't offered to Watch Dogs a year later, it was obvious to me that Ubisoft never was fully on-board, and their sloppy ports on the system are the proof.

He'd clear about 5.5mil after taxes and such.  Assuming he lives for 50 more years, that breaks down to 110 grand a year, not counting any additional income from investments, interest earned, etc. I'd definitely take it and run like hell, but it might not be enough for a really young person to retire and live a lifetime of leisure. Gary made some comments that anyone with any sense would make, and is now in a position where those comments could potentially hurt his career after being offered the job of a lifetime (which he surely had no idea would be on the agenda at the time). Once you're on someone's payroll, what you say impacts them too, so he edited out some old posts to try to damage control any potential PR fallout.
