Are you like, seeking this stuff out or something
the four people that bought a $10k date with inafune are going to bail, right?
yuptbh the only mega man thing I'd give him full credit for is MML, which is why he's so attached to it.

I will not allow myself to be forced to choose between a bunch of different lolis. The entire question feels like a trap, like "So when did you stop hitting your wife?"We need less lolis in games, Inafune.

THE GAME WILL NOT NECESSARILY LOOK LIKE THIS VIDEO, MOVE LIKE THIS VIDEO, OR ACT LIKE THIS VIDEO -- THIS IS A COMPLETELY ROUGH TEST ONLY, MADE IN LITERALLY ONE WEEK, USING ALL PLACEHOLDER ASSETS AND ANIMATION just to test how parts of the engine work. With no shaders, filters, or even models and key art in place yet, normally we would never show anything like this since it’s not representative of the final game at all, but in the spirit of this Kickstarter in showing how the game is made, even from the very earliest steps, we thought it would still be pretty cool to see a glimpse of Beck moving around in the engine (even if it is a placeholder Beck, moving through a placeholder level with placeholder enemies and animations!).
it's just so bad looking,i was expecting a cool 2D sidescrollers with graphics a-la megaman x and instead it's all plasticky and icky like megaman x7... even as "just a test" it disappoints me in how i imagined the game would look especialy when the kickstarter opened with "LOOK AT THESE COOL 2D SPRITES!"
Quote from: magus on September 30, 2013, 06:01:10 PMthe part where it's a 3D game and not a 2D one when they trumpeted the whole thing with 2D sprites even though i can understand we will probably have an half-assed solution with "cell-shaded that make it looks sort of like 2D but really isn't"It was never going to be sprite-based, that was incredibly obvious from the concept mock-up.

wait, if the end result ends up looking like the screenshots you *thought* were 2d, and the game plays in 2d, what's the actual difference?
no surprise there. people want a roll call to go with their rock beck.
anyone want to sum up a 20 minute video?
OH NO A WOMAN WITH AN AGENDA
