DR3 is really fun.
stoney: where do I go to stream stuff from the PC?
1.) Boot windows media player.
2.) Go to the Stream option between organize and create playlist. Click more streaming options.
3.) Check the allowed box for your xbox one. Should say something like Xbox-systemOS
4.) Click next and go to the next screen and make sure it allows sharing for music and videos.
6.) Now right click on any piece of media on your computer. You should see an option that says Play to: And then an option next to it that says Xbox-SystemOS. Select it.
7.) You'll get a little pop-up. Just hit the play button on it. Videos files will play via the Xbox Video player and music files will play via the xbox music player. So you should probably download those already if you haven't already on the xbox one.
Some files types aren't eligible. Like mkv's. I haven't tried any old of the old transcoding software to see if that works yet to handle those kind of files because I assumed it doesn't yet.
