I knew the difference in sheer number of games released was pretty one-sided, but I didn't think the digital release number was THAT lopsided.

Yeah the PS4 is the runaway winner of this generation and the gap will only widen over time.  I'm sure the infrastructure of the consoles are as such that porting to the Bone is easier than in the past so I'm sure it will always get multiplatform games.  The senior executive who decided that the Bone needed to be $100 more than its competitor hopefully got shitcanned.

It's a niche game with a dedicated audience.

It's really not a mass market title or a system seller to anything but its small devoted audience.

I'm not sure why people thought otherwise, though it does seem a common sentiment.  Maybe the number of GAF posts are confusing people as to its relevance.

Yes and no. Yes they were "huge" but not as huge as they were when the Facebook game-wave/bubble was rising. That popped WAY before Matrick and Zynga was basically coasting on one success (their Poker application in Facebook) that had it's lunch money ate while under Matrick's watch.

To be fair to him though: That isn't ENTIRELY his fault as the Poker applications days were numbered even if he wasn't there. It just accelerated IIRC. Oscar could tel--Oh, Oscar... *sigh* How I miss your "CONSOLES ARE DOOMED!!!!" sales talk.

I understand your point, but this is an awful rhetorical question to pose to me specifically given my bizarre media consumption arc. (e.g. I read Dune before middle school, the last time I watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail was as a tween and I watched it A LOT before then.) From 18-20 I actually went and watched a bunch of Disney movies just because I'd never actually seen them as a child.

That dialog is WAY too flowery and overly detailed for anything Dragon Ball related. DBZ was awesome/shitty because of how straightforward everything was yet shit would last ten times longer than it needed to be. Its a action soap opera for kids.

Sony have to be exploiting some loophole in GAF logic where by constantly delaying the PS+ version, people are still allowed make Driveclub threads when every other game has been banished to OT.

At worst it's going to be W101 status where a good game gets relegated to the trash bin cause no one but the spastic dudes talking it up on forums bought it.

Free demo days should give it some legs but still, we'll see.
