Pretty weird to champion rehab in a thread about someone who massacred 70 children/people. It's not really the best scenario to tackle punitive justice being detrimental. I believe in rehabilitation and restorative justice pretty hard but people like Breivik and various serial types make a great case for the fact that prison sometimes really is just to keep the larger population safe.

Even to the person who did it. How are you better than them if you want them to experience the same exact thing your child went through?
