Alton couldn’t find the girl’s mom.  About ten awkward forever-seconds went by.

Again the crowd went really quiet, but up in the balcony, I’m pretty sure Beth and I gasped.

Meh, I like esports. Not going to argue it's nerdy or not nerdy. I have stayed up until 3AM to watch StarCraft tournament finals. I've bought pizzas to watch matches, I've cooked chicken wings in preparation for tournaments. I've participated in low level tournaments, etc.

And I've cheered as hard as I cheer for real sports at a variety of esports moments alongside my brothers, who also love watching BW and SC2.

I know people think it's laughable and I don't blame them. At one point I was a complete esports fanatic. I've calmed down due to losing interest in SC2 (smh Blizzard) but still watch high level matches here or there.

I remember being depressed for a week after losing in the GAF SC2 tournament. First round, best of three. I handily won the first game. Second game started and I lost due to some cheesy bullshit. Then my nerves got to me and I fucked up the last game/got eliminated. My soul burned slow for a week, I shit you not.
