I feel like there's this phenomenon where if you think you're on the right moral side of an argument, you overestimate your expertise in the subject matter relative to that argument, and it's become very prevalent in PoliGAF.

It's a GAF thing in general, we've complained in here before about the whole "I shouldn't have to explain it to you" mentality.

Not the mentality where the person feels that, but where they feel they have to say it and often extensively so rather than actually explain it which would take a paragraph.

"This has been covered." "Please keep up." And then the cycle eventually breaks down and it's all been "signaling" and nobody knew what the argument was other than they were lining up on top of the hill on the right side of history because of who responded to the thread first.

It's all some twisted enthusiast brand loyalty that extends to some absurd levels on GAF where the brand is a GAF poster themselves.

Not that there's anything wrong with proper and important brand loyalty like with YUM! Brands or Bob Avakian. Where brand loyalty is a neutral ground where facts and evidence, presented within the confines of whole flour tortillas, prevail through careful construction of a new synthesis.

You have these idiots posturing like they're political scientists or economists and then making one of those mistakes you described. So like they support universal healthcare or free higher education, and obviously that's the right and correct stance on the subject, so now they're Kenneth Arrow or James Heckman, and everyone with a different stance is some trilobite who just needs to get some education. But if you pressed them on details most of them wouldn't know where to start, with some exceptions like Black Mamba or Chichikov or Cheebs.

The way the word education is used is really annoying. It should mean having your mind expanded through understanding concepts, learning new skills or having important experiences. To a lot of young people being "educated" seems to mean agreeing with a list of opinions. It's really self-congratulatory, assumes the correctness of their positions rather than letting them stand up to scrutiny and it also devalues knowledge.

Benji,  you make a lot of good points, but would you agree that actually firing Mueller would be some serious shit?

You combine the PC-X-box AND Switch version, and you'd exceed the PS4 version. Faster matchmaking, especially on the go > "more popular console."

Especially since a lot of RL fans wanted a Switch version.

If anything, a better question is: Who is going to buy the Switch version if they own a laptop?
