Investors generally are not the brightest around, watch the stock rise after Mario Run launches lol. The trailer clearly shows Nintendo learned from the mistakes of the Wii U. It's already nearing 10m views within a day. And people are talking about it even a friend of mine mentioned it being cool and he does not care about Nintendo most of the time.
I don't think investors/most analysts (sans Pachter) actually looked at the reaction to this thing from gamers and the tech/gaming media being quite positive. Zelda will give this thing a really good start and that's not even counting several other titles (Splatoon/Dragon Quest in Japan, etc).Also, I think we're a bit more clued in on the price point range than they are (since we pay attention).

If you can feed it a sim card with a regular ass contract and it works, that's a bigger game-changer than anything they've shown and said. Carrying a tablet around just for gaming, without you being able to read neogaf, makes no sense to the average joe.

When my husband dies, I'd probably be happiest (as happy as one can be with a dead partner) if I could get a nurse/sex android that looks just like my deceased husband to take care of me in my old age, and be my companion. It kind of works out perfectly IMO.
