Of course third party support will be garbage.
I omitted the line because of this.
Third party support will be garbage, ergo: It
won't "get more games than the Wii U and 3DS combined!" It'll
probably match the 3DS in terms of output, if that. Didn't the 3DS go through the same Wii U game drought within the past 2 or 3 years?

Here's how it's gonna go:
Launch: Mario, Zelda (maybe), a few third party 360/PS3 up-ports (maybe)->Nobody buys the console within the first year because Nintendo either 1) overprices (hardly) or 2) has terrible infrastructure/hasn't learned their lessons in the past 4 generations
First year: Due to this and lack of sales in their up-ports->Third Parties outside of Atlus and (somewhat) Capcom drop support and putting third party games on the system.
Second year: Due to this and lack of sales->GAME DROUGHT.
Being a "hybrid" won't stop Nintendo from screwing this up completely. Bank it. The
only way your scenario happens is if "Please Rip My Clothes Off, Daddy 36: Lolicon Harder" developers come to the system. Which, if they do: Will further kill the system in the west because 1) NoA won't stand for that (and rightly so) and 2) nobody besides like... you and maybe... Joe and Bork will buy those. Further quickening it's demise into a drought.
