It seems so naive to think you have to agree with a creator in order to enjoy their work. Koichi Sugiyama is a terrible person, but I still love Dragon Quest music. Beethoven was by all accounts a pretty terrible person, but you wont get better than his works. Hell, I can't think of an author that GAF wouldn't toss out as sexist. I have signed recordings from people that I often listen to and I know these people and personally know them to be really god awful people, but they're still able to create something of beauty. I can't help but think that if you keep looking to the creator to agree with you, you're going to be stuck enjoying largely mediocre stuff. And it misses the point that it's about what the person created and not what the person is.
