Not sure I see how biology would play a role in the ability and willingness to code ? A quick google search on "female dominated jobs" seems to indicate that in the UK women makes up the majority of jobs such like accountants, tax collectors or financial specialists, jobs involving numbers and at a quick glance having little to do with the qualities you listed.
Are we gonna deny that some crafts are male dominated because of the heritage of a much more entrenched institutional sexism prevalent a few generations ago ? And that sexism can be perpetuated among other things by cultural & social norms on an inconscious level ? Just because we're rattled by a bit hyperbolic rhetoric ?
I wouldn't expect CompSci classes to be perfectly distributed between genders, but surely 20%-25% of female graduates (going per the stats in the thread) do warrant, at the very least, a discussion about whether or not such a ratio is really normal.
