I have personally interacted with a significant amount of every console game released this gen witb significant narative hype. As far as bests go, the consensus seems to be The Witcher 3, Horizon:Zero Dawn, Until Dawn, The Last of Us, Uncharted 4, Life is Strange and Telltales Walking Dead S1.

I have either personally played or watched others play multiple hours of all of these games and experienced the story of all these games except The Witcher 3 to completion. I have a pretty well informed oppinion of all the narative strengths and weaknesses both in these games but in the industry at large from volume of playtime.

Its with this background that i unequivocally say that As of right now, Xenoblade Chronicles X is the best written game of this generation.

I have Horizon and Witcher 3 as no2 and 3 respectively on my list. For anyone wondering. All three games are very different in their strengths and weaknesses. XCX has the worst main story path and the best sidequests. Horizon has the best main story path and the worst (but still good) sidequests. The Witcher 3 splits the difference while losing points for being beholden to much of last generations Father/Suggorate Daughter narative trend.A less kind person might call its main path Skyward Sword with Realistic Nudity and a somewhat cliche love triangle.

Its with this background that i unequivocally say that As of right now, Xenoblade Chronicles X is the best written game of this generation.

Most of us will never know true happiness, we work 8 hour a day jobs to support our lives, which inevitably ends up becoming all about that 8 hour thing you do to support that thing you no longer have. It's very rarely you find people who live lives of their own choosing, closest we have are rich people and even they have their own set of pressures. Agreed. If I had it my way, I'd have a 3 day work week. The fact that I only get two days off (and one of them I have to do errands on) just means I feel chained to my work 24/7 and completely makes me want to commit suicide every day. It benefits nobody to feel that trapped/chained to work.

To the people who think this shit isn't vaguely homophobic, show me evidence that this phrase became far reaching outside of a damn t-shirt the campaign put out in late 2015 (that, funnily enough, I've only ever seen in real life worn by gay people).

"Yaaass Queen!" Is a GENERAL phrase, that existed before Hillary Clinton ran for office, used primarily by gay people in reference to strong females they idolize. You usually see it in reference to popular pop stars and actresses.

GAF has a solid contingent of gay posters.

Popular male politicians get afforded nicknames all the time. There is literally a cult of personality surrounding Bernie Sanders and the Obama Administration that people hardly ever criticize.

But "YAAASSS Queen!" offends to the very core for some people...
