To keep on with the nerdling rant since I've been a Wonder Woman "fan" since Rucka fixed her book and she killed Max Lord, felt she was going to be the easiest non-Supes/Bat character to do a standalone for even while everyone else was like "how?!?!?" and these new kids aren't allowed to enjoy things because they're lttp...even this version of the character will not be a new take since Master Snyder The Great already established her. In BvS she infamously had like ten lines in the theatrical cut, spends most of the movie just looking hot and spy-detective-flirting with Bruce, then when she finally suits up one thing she says is simply "I've killed things from other worlds before." Then proceeds to be the only one to actually fight Doomsday directly, Bruce hides for most of it because he's not stupid and Clark talks to Lois for twenty minutes because they are, and is clearly spending her time enjoying it.

I'm glad Benji got to it, because it's pissing the comic nerd in me right the fuck off that people who have never in their life read a Wonder Woman comic have these things to say about "the importance of the character." There aren't "two Wonder Woman's." There are hundreds. The most celebrated runs of character happened under 3 men and 1 woman. Perez fixed the character, turning her from the Justice League's bondage-loving secretary into the warrior princess everybody knows. Rucka grounded her, Azzarello modernized her and Simone added plenty of humor and violence to her background. "The Wonder Woman written by men" is the fucking Wonder Woman that you are now seeing on screen, because Johns and Heinberg are both men.

Injustice is a world where everybody side resembles their baseline character only a little. Superman is a tyrant who murders gleefully and Lex is a good guy. Maybe try to pretend like you actually know a single thing about what you're talking about before trying to turn it into some half-assed social issue.  These people are on the same level talking about "oh, of course she's dating a MAN in the movie!!!"

I feel like GAF has narcolepsy or something. I've never fallen asleep watching a movie, playing a game, reading a book, watching TV; anything but lying down specifically intending to go to sleep. If I don't like a movie I stop watching it, and if I don't feel like I'm going to be able to stay awake for the next two hours I don't start watching a movie. You guys are weird.

I've fallen asleep mid level in some of my favorite games - like Future Cop LAPD, fell asleep during a game of NBA Live, and Shenmue. In fact as a kid I was known for falling asleep mid game/movies/stuff.

Come to think of it, I've fallen asleep playing video games before.  Back when Phantasy Star Online came out for the Game Cube, I used to take my system and the game to a buddy's house and play 4P local multiplayer.  We'd play until 4-6 AM and I'd usually conk out around 1 or 2, then wake up to find the others still playing an hour or two later.
