It's the same for these games on PS4 and Xbone I assume- sure you're way less likely to play them offline than Switch, but it's still just dumb all-around with the Bethesda account shit. Guess the PS3 version of Doom 3 (includes Doom and Doom II and is said to be the best-performing versions of these games) is still the champ.

Not Switch but Doom related, seems Bethesda revoked the BC license for the 360 Doom 1 & 2 ports so you can still play them on 360 but not on X1 unless they are already downloaded on your console.

Gotta buy the new ports now.

The camera in mua3 is 🗑.

in coop it will do weird shit like follow one player who is ranged and backing up away from the boss, and then stick on them while the boss is off screen hammering the other guy who is also off screen.

Really noticed this in the mysterious fight.

It didn't take that long to get the second batch. Plus you'll get the challenges and more characters with all the abilities as you go.

Honestly, it's worth what they charge for it. $20/year is about right for the feature set.

Also it's exciting that I'll potentially be playing Super Mario World and Link to the Past on a new Nintendo system without having to fucking buy them again.

It's no cross-play but it'll do...

the main issue is its the same trashpile it was when it was free but now they want money. there's still no voice or text chat that isn't garbo. no usernames that mean anything, still dumb friend codes. its basically the same level of service as the wii but now they want you to pay for it.

I bet It’s theoretically possible to do something sort of like that service that allowed you to trick an OG Xbox into thinking it was on a local network over the internet.... but probably a hell of a lot easier to just fork over $20.

No, the homebrew software for Switch allows you to play any game online that has local wireless multiplayer, which is a large number of titles.

Left Joy Con is starting to get the drift problem. Mainly happen in games where I'm not constantly using the Joy Con (Picross in my case) where it randomly will start to move upwards. Kinds sucks, that's probably my first console defect that feels unreasonable (I maybe have 300 hours on that Joy Con).

My joycons are fine but I was half thinking if I should send them in or not anyway. This free drift fix will probably be a permanent thing right, not some limited offer? I'm usually lucky with Nintendo hardware and haven't had issues. Only thing that ever affected me was the cracked DS hinge.
