In the beginning of Dragons Dogma you can go down a well and I did but there is some lizard people that fuck up my Strider and pawns.

After 4 tries I decided to head of to Witchwood instead and ran into many more, killed like 4-5 but then more came so I tried to run away and ran into bandits :'(

Whats an easy way to kill lizard dudes? I try getting behind them but do almost no damage, fire works but I got no fire spells just arrows and daggers

Putting that quest front and center at the start of the game is basically the Devs trolling the player. The lizard people are too high level for beginning chars. The beginning in general is a bit rough, but unless you like to play like Borys, go somewhere else first.

I played Fallen Legion on Vita/PS4, and I think more people should check it out. Posting in here since it's on Switch as well and combines both storylines (though they are largely similar).

If you enjoyed Valkyrie Profile's combat, Fallen Legion is literally just that. The L O R E and story are behind the scenes but who gives a shit about that. You pick 3 ~~einherjar~~ exemplars and go through a series of battles juggling attacks, blocking/reflecting them based on timing and you can help by casting some support spells. Music's great, visuals are nice.

During each level, decisions come up based on actions in your army and as you make them they affect sidequests and special units/items that may appear in your playthrough. You also get a brief bonus for that level and it heals your units.

I'm a bit salty there's less potential online players overall, like in Mario Kart, but it's still way more lively and active than Weeooo's online.

Their defense goes down if you cut off their tails. Should be managable if you do that.

SMB3 being on it made it worth the 20 bucks for me. I got like 80 hours logged in the 3ds version of the game. (It's like 3 hours long if you do everything.)

Back official thread on ResetEra, Travis Strikes Back seems like a cash grab meant to fuel No More Heroes 3 project money.

No skin off my nuts if a director wants fuel, but Travis Strikes Back is a typical mediocre Suda game.

My tldr point: calling someone putting time into a game they don't necessarily like, a gimmick, is stupid. Very stupid. Any critic of media or a hobby has to digest turd in some capacity to build taste.

If you're saying someone who eats shit can't talk shit, you will still, with much certainty, call out people that talk shit but don't eat shit. That ain't right.

I feel like No More Heroes 1 is not that much worse than Killer 7. Killer 7 doesn't have particularly good gameplay either, it just has a better story and music and art. NMH1 story as a parody is pretty solid and there's some good music and art in there too.

Idk, all Suda games play fucking bad, but I liked the story & music in K7 & NMH1.

The Wii one has wide tracks with rails that are zzz and a jump button. Also pretty sure Nagoshi wasn't even involved at that point.

1&2 are tight as fuck make you cry platforming challenges. You wanna jump you bump shit at the perfect angle or fly off a cliff at a perfect angle or you

I beat both and some of that stuff was like that gen's super meat boy/celeste/sekiro. Very rewarding game design though. I'd be up for replaying them on a portable since I don't think they have the team together to do a quality new one at this point.
