Skyward Sword with a regular controller is definitely doable- people have already made it work with 360 controllers using Dolphin.



So glad that waggle controls are pretty much a dead thing.  Hated that shit in 99% of the games that had them.

I know it’s not comparable, but I genuinely love the motion control fine-tuning that BOTW has for shooting arrows, and think a similar setup could be great for a lot of shooters.  Plus, apparently lots of splatoon players insist gyro-aiming is better if you can get used to it.

Im only two hours in to Astral Chains buy the story is bonkers. Everything else is pretty good. I dunno its weird.

If it’s anything like the 3ds or wii-to-wiiu transfer process, expect some Nintendo shit.

You can either do a system transfer with both units and times will vary depending on how much stuff you have, or just redownload everything.  If you are paying for Nintendo online, your game saves will also be backed up and you can re-download them to the new system.  Note that Splatoon saves are not backed up to the cloud, so if you don't system transfer, it's gone.

Didn't have any "Nintendo shit" happen when I got the newer model Switch recently.

Yeah it was stupid of them to not have already had an account system in place by this point- but there was no account system so it wasn't unexpected when I did it.  Always made sure to do systems transfers before changing up systems.

And then if your system broke, you had to send it to Nintendo to have them move your stuff over.

Im pretty sure I created my first Nintendo account around 2002 for Gamecube game points (club Nintendo?), which then was transferred to a DS account for online play (nintendo wifi connection?) which was then transferred to another account system (nintendo network id?) which was then modified into a new system.

Makes logging into anything a pain in the ass.

I consider anything after beating Bowser in Mario to be post-game so yeah it probably is the final level. There’s probably (surely) more after this but for the sake of practicality the game will have been “beaten”. Just like any Mario.

Besides Overwatch, the other "confirmed" game is an Assassin's Creed collection that will have AC4 and Rogue.  Also saw that Puzzlequest Remastered is another title.

Am interested in Overwatch, but this is pretty stuff.  40 minute Direct though, so unless it's like 90% gameplay footage of Luigi and Pokermoms, there's gonna be a lot more.
