Lol greenscreening the presidents head onto a body

This is how far America has come

You can easily tell by looking at his 'hands' when he opens them up. that a greenscreen was employed here

Bernie is an independent, and Sandy was just on MSNBC as a guest more than it being an "official" response.

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm kinda curious how far you guys trend towards the "open borders" side. If we put Trump/Dobbs on the "right" (or left), the Dimms mostly in the middle, benji on the "far left" (or far right) and pragmatic attempted benji* on the "left" etc.

Nobody has to actually answer or anything of course, I just don't think we've ever really talked about it like other stuff that I remember so I'm a bit curious how far we collectively go on this front.

*Some minor free paperwork mostly as a type of census, health/crime checks before residency allowed. Highly lenient status refugee acceptance. Drivers licenses are okay, so is voting, etc. Complete ban on Canadians, automatic high powered turrets every three feet along the Canadian border, minefields, and multiple walls based on defense in depth principles.

Every six weeks or so I remember that Bill Shine landed a White House gig after spending years protecting Roger Ailes and Bill O'Reilly so they could molest female employees at Fox News.

Truly, #metoo has gone too far.

Entering the United States illegally is trespassing, so the punishment should be commensurate. I believe that's around a $1000 fine. As for border "security", who cares?

Only if the property owners do not consent. You wouldn't know being completely surrounded by it but for most of the rest of us it's quite easy to avoid entering Federal land.

He is currently negotiating with himself by trying to (illegally) shift money around to stave off the worst of the shutdown threats. But, if he figures out a way to keep the parks open and pat snap, why would dems ever come to the table?!

Fact check, the gunman threatening to kill the hostages is one of the reasons for the crisis, the police not giving into his demands is the other.

Unlike many other things it is not illegal for a president to do so. It is frowned upon but not illegal.

And that is seemingly where things are headed. Although Trump mentioned the Dems would visit today and everything could be solved in a 45 minute meeting.  :lol
After which he can go back to golf.

So I'm not sure how dragging this out benefits the Democrats either. They just keep getting sucked deeper into the Trump Deadzone and more of the differences between the Bernies and the Clintonistas are aired out in the open.

Trump really has no trouble whatsoever hyping up this emergency

Although he would be doing it in increasingly conservative courts.

I actually think, from what I have read, there is the possibility he could make it through the other side by taking non-appropriated slush funds in the defense department, though it would require a level of message discipline and competency the administration and Trump has yet to show....So probably not.

the whole thing was one big grift. They sent out emails to his supporters before and after the televised address asking for donations for the "official wall fund" and in small print it said that the money would go towards his reelection campaign.

 :neogaf :trumps

Of course it was.

The wall was 'made up' by Roger Stone because he noticed Trump would forget to talk about immigration.
So to have him remember to talk migration during his rumblings they came up with the wall.
It A/B tested pretty well with the crowd as well.

The Democrats seem to forget that they're negotiating with a deranged lunatic who wants to be at the center of attention.
Which is why he's proud of the Trump shutdown. If anything the news is all about Donald Trump again.

Warren's campaign didn't even make a blip on the radar. All the Democrats can do is talk about how they don't plan to fund a wall.
The Trump deadzone is just sucking up all the attention and talking points.

Or as he wrote (or didn't) in his book: "there is no bad publicity, all publicity is good publicity".
Which is probably why he blocked that bipartisan funding bill. Not because it lacks the wall but because he wasn't a part of it.

The media and democrats once again find themselves fighting a battle on Trump's terms. During the lunch he told them that he didn't care about the speech and it wouldn't matter much but aides told him he should do it.
He'll drag this out all the way to the supreme court if he as to unless he gets bored or something else comes up that attracts more cameras.

The reason he turned so many cabinet positions into 'acting' positions is probably because it got so much attention from the press. Did he ever name a new UN ambassador?

Eh, the reason why there's so many acting positions currently is because Trump and his administration is having a tough time finding people that are qualified, and then getting them though the senate. Trump keeps on burning bridges with his own Republican members in the senate. I think that's part of the reason why Barr hasn't been confirmed yet, Trump has given no reason to force the Senate to be as efficient as possible.
