Yup, "winning" Iowa doesn't matter so much when it's a virtual tie for first and all the media coverage is centered around the caucus debacle anyways. Biden taking an L and Pete getting elevated are the most helpful things for Bernie.
On the other side of things, not looking great for the theory that Bernie's going to muster tons of previously disenfranchised voters who not only will elect him but create a sustained mass movement to achieve his goals. He got fewer votes than John Edwards did finishing 3rd in 2008.
