Quote from: shosta on February 26, 2020, 01:12:00 PMI hear this a lot but we had twenty candidates, and let me ask, who in the Democratic Party right now actually would've been a better candidate? And which past Democratic candidates would have been better candidates today? If they win they're political geniuses who planned it out from the start, if they lose it's because of some personal failing instead of actual material conditions. Similar dynamic to how the President is always held responsible for the state of the economy.

It’s not that I care about the specifics on how shit is financed, but I’d at least like a candidate that appears to have thought of his biggest policy proposals for more than an hour or two. I kind of feel like a dope for voting for him, but what were the alternatives? The Democrats really fucked up with this lineup.I think it's stupid as fuck to do a thorough policy body of work like Hillary did while campaigning. It's a waste of time. Like who ISN'T gonna jump at the chance to figure out how to get money for the Green New Deal when nomination starts?Aside from that that stuff gets tweaked working through the sausage factory. As soon as they announce billions of subsidies for oil companies to develop green tech, Shell is gonna load up all that data from the 80's they were hiding.I’m not really looking for a thorough policy, I’m looking for a clue at all. He seems to get flustered when he’s asked about basic details. He blew this on 60 Minutes where he had time to prepare a safe answer that didn’t even have to say anything meaningful. To me, I guess the red flag is that he seems very reactive and unprepared for things I’d expect him to be more prepared for. He’s had a lot of time to perfect answers to this shit, he’s running on the same promises as 2016 and he was asked some of this stuff then, too. Dems got a bunch of candidates but what you're missing TVC, is probably someone with big dick energy. Showmanship is a factor.

Bernie's camp going after closed primaries but not caucuses for being "undemocratic" is another data point that when it comes to process arguments, no1curr.

Biden has to get 60% roughly to leapfrog Bernie, and then bernie has to get 0.That's a tall ask.

Expecting to take the lead is insanity. I think he's a bit nuts to be doing so but as a former vp doesn't he get secret service protection for life?

I’ve read several Pete/Chasten fanfics over the last couple of weeks, and save one particularly intense Pete/Chasten/Beto O’Rourke fetish fic I stumbled upon, they are overwhelmingly vanilla, with an emphasis on how much the two men love and adore one another.
