As to the media, those are pretty powerful claims without powerful evidence to match. The Washington Post spent more time than any paper reporting on and exposing issues surrounding drone strikes during Obama's tenure. McClatchy did incredible reporting leading up to and during the invasion of Iraq. That is not exactly a sign of complicity in government actions abroad. Nor is the current dynamic going on between many news outlets and the actions being stoked by the current administration.

Are you saying the MSM did not support and facilitate the Iraq war and they have labelled Obama a war criminal and called for his prosecution?

As to what should be done, the us not holding itself above international law would be a start.

First off, I hate the term MSM. It’s a lazy catch-all to invite straw men and cherry pick. And there are certainly issues I have with individual places like CNN that amidst a transition to a more Fox News style format of news(not in firebrand rhetoric but reliance upon paid and unpaid contributors and talking heads as a cheap substitution for investigative journalists and long-form investigations) they did not ask tougher questions leading up Iraq. Granted post 9/11 was also a very jarring time in american history. But I still think that should be a dark mark. But that isn’t really proof CNN is somehow on the trust level equivalent of Fox News or Breit Bart or Infowars. Or that when they break a story about upcoming indictments that they weren’t credible to trust. I mean did you refuse to believe they were telling the truth?

As to calling into credibility a news organization because they don’t take the preferred firebrand opinion position you want them to take, I don’t know what to tell you, except that isn’t proof to what you alluded to before. But places like the Post certainly posted extensively about things like Obama’s drone strikes and ran plenty of critical op-Ed’s and stories of various people calling Obama a war criminal. Outlets certainly have bias, it’s impossible to avoid as human beings, but that is t proof of wanton deception and complicity.

I’m really curious if he will start mentioning more pardon stuff again. He not at all suspiciously began pushing that in the press in July, right after it leaked out that Manafort would likely be indicted. When apparently Papadopoulos was arrested. And from my brief reading this morning Manafort has not indicated he would flip at this point.

The coincidence of when these signals and pressures have occurred, like the Comey pledge and asking various directors how to push back on this investigation, certainly indicate Trump knows a lot more than his lawyers and himself has asserted.
