Who in 2019 reads filler or nintex posts? Talk about a self inflicted L

99% of Nintex posts:

Word Count:  9,000
Like Count:  1 (filler)
Quote Count: 0

It's fucking strange;  he's like a YouTuber who keeps making videos for years that get like 5 views.

Not that strange, Nintex is keeping up the proud tradition of Youtube being the modern day public access channel.

Etoilet at least had good taste in games and was sometimes funny in other threads. I kind of wish he was around to see him dissemble about how Mueller’s information is wrong because of some no name conspiracy blog.

Nintex finds all of the worst AAA games from 1+ year ago and writes dissertations on how great they are

I suspect it would be boring, he would just be spamming Aaron Mate and Glenn Greenwald tweets and trying to dance around his prior endorsement of the Seth Rich conspiracy. While claiming he didn’t call Mandark a coward or put me on ignore for frustrating him over calling out his conspiracy bullshit.

His political aptitude was Filler/Nintex levels, he just wrapped it up in bloviated language and wank daddery.

One thing that is pissing me off as I read through the report, is that given how evasive and uncooperative Trump was in his written responses, Mueller definitely should of subpoenaed him.

Especially when earlier you make note and essentially state outright that evidence being destroyed and poor cooperation stymied investigative leads.

I think John Favreau or somebody mentioned that a likely reason not to do that is because it would go to the courts to decide which would delay the final conclusions of the Mueller Report until we're a lot closer to November 2020. Basically tainting the report as a reverse-Comey.

As it is now, the report outright says that there are 10 obstruction charges possible and it's up to Congress/America to figure out what to do with it.

Impeachment is impossible and a failed impeachment just looks bad for Democrats so probably the best thing to do is to repeat over and over that he's a criminal and keep trying to pass legislation that broadens the scope of investigations into the president and those campaigning to be president. Maybe take away their immunity from prosecution?

Reuters, about those armed vigilantes from yesterday:

Quote
They post near daily videos showing members dressed in camouflage and armed with semi-automatic rifles holding groups of migrants, many of them Central American families seeking asylum, until U.S. Border Patrol agents arrive to arrest them.

The real story here is that the Border Patrol knows about an armed group of rednecks kidnapping people on the border, interacts with them, and does nothing about it.

Why would the border patrol knowing about themselves be a story?

Oh nvm looks like he’s gonna announce it next week. I think Bernie will hand him his ass in the debates so we good.

California Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter and his Democratic challenger Ammar Campa-Najjar traded Twitter barbs Thursday over a video Hunter posted in which he appeared to suggest he was crossing the southern border into Mexico.

Campa-Najjar sent an email to the Times of San Diego, with the subject line: “Hunter breaks the law violates parol,” meaning parole.

Hunter and his wife, who at times has also served as his campaign treasurer, were indicted by a federal grand jury last August and pleaded not guilty to the charges at an arraignment days later. They were released on $15,000 bond. He will face trial later this year.

According to the Times of San Diego, Hunter’s bond forbids him from traveling outside the continental United States.

In the video, Hunter eases himself over a railing before proclaiming, “That’s how easy it is to cross the border in Yuma, Arizona.”

But Hunter, the legally embattled Republican from California’s 50th District, did not actually cross into Mexico at the border as he appeared to claim in the video. The railing was a vehicle barrier positioned roughly 75 to 100 feet away from the Colorado River — the actual U.S.-Mexico border in Yuma.

“It looks pretty tough to cross. Let me see if I can do it,” Hunter says in the video, before sweeping his legs up and over the waist-high vehicle barrier’s horizontal bar and plopping down on the other side.
Quote
Hunter spokesman Michael Harrison lambasted Campa-Najjar, saying the Democrat was seeking media attention and drumming up controversy.

“Congressman Hunter remained in the U.S. … I recognize our opponent is trying to create a headline, but I would encourage him and others to look and review a map,” Harrison said, per a reporter for POLITICO California.

Campa-Najjar fired back that Hunter was the one trying to stir the pot by claiming he was in Mexico.

Hunter either broke the law and violated the conditions of his release or was pulling a political stunt, Campa-Najjar said, according to the Times of San Diego.

Hunter faces trial in September on 60 federal charges related to spending more than $250,000 in campaign funds on personal expenses such as a family vacation to Italy and dental work.
https://twitter.com/Rep_Hunter/status/1118944290816831489

Border Patrol spokesman Vincent Dulesky in Yuma confirmed that in a phone interview.

“What [Hunter] crossed was a vehicle barrier,” said Dulesky, who helped lead the Wednesday night tour. “That is approximately 75-100 feet from the border — the border is actually the river that’s west of that.”

He said 10 years ago, border agents were having trouble with “drive-throughs,” so vehicle barriers were installed.

“It has now become a hot spot because that’s now where the majority of the pedestrian traffic is coming through because obviously it’s easier to transverse,” he said.

“But it’s not the boundary between Mexico and the U.S. — that’s another 75 feet west of that actual area.”

After being informed of this, Campa-Najjar said in a final email: “Can Hunter’s spokesperson please show Hunter a map? He was the one who falsely advertised he was 15 meters from Mexico. He also needs to be shown the Colorado River, which is a secondary barrier he’d need to cross to actually get to Mexico.

Announcing his video to announce a week from now...which means he already announced, so just release the video now. I hate shit like that.
Seth Moulton, Representative from Massachusetts, has also taped a video for release on Monday to announce he's running for President. :american

Man, if impeachment charges don't come up, despite the investigation concluding that "Congress People, you can get this guy on obstruction charges", and the Dems instead run with "he's a criminal who got away with it" for 2020 :dead
seems like at least some of them are basically gonna resist anything beyond mild oversight due to the politics and claim they’re leaving it up to the American people....Though some positive signs say otherwise

Though if that responsibility shifting is where we get to, given the last time America was tasked with such a decision about punishing borderline criminal acts, we re-elected the guy that lied the country into a war.

Also lost in all this is the president has already been named an unindicted  co-conspirator in a felony campaign finance violation. So on the merits alone, there is more than enough evidence to justify impeachment hearings.

Dems leadership is like Candace Owens being called on her bullshit live on CSPAN right now. Either you believe in Congress being a co-equal branch of government tasked with oversight of the Executive (and Judicial branch) or you don't. Right now Pelosi, et al. believe they aren't a co-equal branch.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/20/us/militia-arrest-border-new-mexico.html

Quote
The F.B.I. on Saturday arrested the leader of a right-wing militia that was detaining migrant families at gunpoint near the border in southern New Mexico, as the group faced  a torrent of criticism for its tactics.

Hector Balderas, New Mexico’s attorney general, said federal agents had arrested the leader, Larry Mitchell Hopkins, who had been operating under the alias Johnny Horton Jr. Mr. Balderas said in a statement that Mr. Hopkins was arrested on charges of firearms possession by a felon.

Quote
Mr. Hopkins, whose residence is in Flora Vista in northwest New Mexico, had already come under the scrutiny of groups tracking right-wing militias around the United States. He was convicted in 2006 for impersonating an officer and for felony firearm possession, according to The Daily Beast.

Quote
Speaking to someone using a voice distorter while wearing a gas mask, Mr. Hopkins appeared on a right-wing extremist YouTube channel in November. He claimed to be in touch with President Trump after a chance meeting at a Las Vegas casino.

They've already been sending Democrat leaders out on the talk shows saying their plan is to run 2020 on "He's a criminal and got away with it" like they aren't in charge of being the ones to charge him. They gave up their position before the report even came out, and now they're going to act like Trump slipped through the system and that's why it's important to vote for X in 2020.

I guess House Dems could try to play the calendar to have the proceedings as close to the campaign season as possible and / or that they are waiting for Mueller and others to testify... Or as you say that they believe it will have more political punch to go with the narrative you mention. Which I find incredibly spineless.
