Ive never played a persona game but i feel like this one is gonna be the one. Some stores near me have it in stock but wont sell it yet argh. Gonna play with japanese va obvs. Is anyone here excited for p5?

I have it pre-ordered and I've been avoiding the previews. The English voice acting is great in Persona 3 and 4.

I intended to finish both Horizon: Zero Dawn and Yakuza 0 before Persona 5. Instead I have been playing Elder Scrolls: Legends and Magic Duels.

I've been skipping some single player games because there's just too much stuff that has come out all around the same time, but I'm definitely getting this day one. Have a steelbook edition pre-ordered with the Amazon Prime discount.

Wish there was a portable version of this, though- this would have been a great launch game for the Switch. It came out on the PS3 so the system could definitely handle it.

I'm sure a Vita or Switch version will follow in the future.

I'm going to finish NieR: Automata and pick it up. The phantom thieves at night is just too hilarious and cute for me to pass it up. I only played Persona 3: FES and skipped 4 because I couldn't use my PS3 and didn't have a Vita so I'm looking forward to the Quality of Life changes.

This is a good first persona game. Lotta tutorial stuff early on (but doesn't get in the way). I'd easily recommend this to people as their "first persona", "first SMT" or "first rpg ever"

I know Golden supposedly fixed some of my issues with P4 but I hope this isn't the beta test version of the game like P3 and P4 were.

I mean, you already know they're going to do a "re-mastered" version of this in a year or so. Might as well enjoy it now and hope the game saves transfer over. IT PRINTS MONEEYYYYY!

Nothing to fix in P5 besides the difficulty (P5 is mainstream easier megaten), but I wouldn't be surprised if they do a re-release w/extra content at some point.

I almost bought the SE but only for the bag.. lol :p. But not easily obtainable like the normal game.

I just downloaded the japanese voice track and it seems you ARE able to switch, even for an existing save.

Think I'll keep my first playthrough on english tho, the voices are pretty cool and I think a lot of small voice things arent actually subtitled...

This is going to sound odd but I actually think the game is a little too stylish. The CE was much bigger than I thought it was going to be, nicely put together as well.

Jesus that opening is pretty intense.
