There have been cars sold that weren't street legal before (truthfully this sounds like they're making GT1 / GT2 cars available to the public), but the whole, "Why don't you buy this thing meant to be taken anywhere with roads, leave it with us because you can't do that with this, then trust us to ship it wherever you want when needed," thing is very much some tech "solving a problem that doesn't exist" drivel. It even has SaaS stuff with the security cam and driving instructors.
It's also demonstrative of the massive wealth inequality brought to us by our liberal friends. (Hey dog, we heard you like being a gas guzzler, so we sold a product that makes you gas guzzle in order to gas guzzle.)
