Ehhhh. I'm not going to put this at the feet of just trans people. The people on the right have handled it universally awful. Aversion to them is 100% justified. The problem is that the opposite side, who has very real arguments, are often blinded by ideology. Which, to be fair, is usually nothing more than a defense mechanism. There's legit science out there that shows that being trans is very valid and real and conservatives choose to ignore it.
