I have to admit even though the forum drama is funny, I'm kinda sad about what happened to the NeoGAF community.

It basically split into 3 groups

1. The Shower Elf NeoReich cheerleader squad better known as the personal diary of Tyler Malka

2. REEEE with conversation 'steering', official political positions on everything (how to discuss this game, how you should feel about person X or issue Y). Basically purging everyone until there is nothing but a left-wing human centipede left.
Even posters and mods I considered 'sane' in the past have completely gone off the deep end to toe the line of their new ideology.

3. This place of Diamond Dogs left-overs 

GAF split up way before shower-gate happened.  You had the original O.G. split-off forum Opa-Age, then the Bore, and other places like Wasting Your Life (lol) and SLAENT.  A lot of the better posters stopped posting on GAF a long time ago and either on splinter forums or just FB/Twitter and the like instead.

It was pretty average, yeah.  Not like his old stuff at all.  Didn't really like it when he was talking about how he got divorced because he was cheating and was addicted to porn, too.  It came off as just sad and pathetic instead of "LOL laugh with me at my failures."

Appreciate Destiny's work a lot and I believe his heart is in the right place, but honestly I have mixed feelings about him.
