My issue is that I don't think that sound and fury is the best way to respond to everything.  If a person is a serial rapist like Cosby or Weinstein then it seems kicking them to curb (and to prison) is the thing to do, a lot of this other stuff seems like the appropriate reaction is for all of us to contemplate how shitty we are and try to be better.
