Outside of First Blood, I’m pretty sure Stallone didn’t appear in any good movies in the 80s. He was in plenty of great 80s cheese, but not good movies. Over the Top isn’t even great, ridiculous 80s cheese.

I'd say it's pretty ridiculous, 80's cheese.

I’m finding it difficult to describe. As a movie about competitive arm wrestling, it is by definition 80s cheese, but I do not think it stacks up to the quality of the other terrible 80s cheese Stallone was shoveling out at the time.

I remember the family being terrible and the worst part of the show.

I think the best way to save the show is to have the season open with the family coming home from Tambor’s funeral.  They’re all sad. Suddenly, there’s a montage of each family member’s face going from sad to enlightened. They realize that they’re ALL trans and that they caught it from Tambor. The show documents their journey from that point on. One of them can be a non-binary of the variety Queen dislikes, and maybe the show can focus on them.
