I am speaking about years of research into the thing we call privilege. Attractiveness will help get you hired. Attractiveness will help you get promoted. Lack of dependents will free up your own money. Having good social skills helps you network and gain influence.

All of these things are abilities which help get you to a more comfortable and enjoyable place in the world.
