I was really looking forward to God of War until I realized it’s basically a father-son bonding version of Last of Us. I didn’t watch many clips of the game but did see one where Kratos struggled to lift a rock or something while the son slipped through and as he let it down it collapsed and blocked off the prior path.

I’ve only seen that exact mechanism 8,000 times in  Naughty Dog games. Fuck to the no. I’m in my early 30s and now that neckbeards my age write, design and develop games they fucking suck. It’s like they learned all the wrong lessons from the games we grew up on, or maybe just the losers went on to become developers. I don’t know. He's influenced the entire landscape multiple times, hell, 808's alone, his lowest received album, birthed an entire generation of artists that's been running for around 10 years now.
