Ehhhh.. if she put it out herself? I'd consider her an indie developer for sure, especially if she did most the work herself. I don't doubt the Maynard thing happened. That shit is par for the course. That celebrity worship where you could be having sex with a fan within seconds of meeting them was pretty much invented by musicians, and if your job lets lets you have sex with people you just met I can't imagine it doesn't warp your ego.

It does not 'happen often' you hear about it a few times and assume its a massive thing when its not. I worked at GS for nearly a decade, want to know how often this ever happened at any of the stores I worked at? Twice. Twice in nearly 10 years. The internet has a hate boner for Gamestop so any time someone has a problem with the company the same people like to blow it out of proportion and make it seem like its this massive problem that happens when its not.

You are wrong and have no idea what you're talking about. As I mentioned above I worked there for a decade, regardless you didn't even bother to read my post so let me tell you again. This happens at all retailers not just Gamestop because some people are assholes and buy new consoles, open them and then decide to return them barely played but since Nintendo does not seal their systems its a hell of a lot harder to catch someone doing it. Doesn't matter if you buy systems from Best Buy, Walmart, Gamestop, Target, ect. it can happen anywhere. Just because you hate Gamestop doesn't mean this is a thing isolated to them or is even their fault. The fault is clearly on Nintendo, if they sealed their systems like everyone else it would be a hell of a lot harder for those people who do this to get away with it.
