There's a bit of that in this game too with the elevator segments and some areas with pitfalls.

Just not as bad since it's a small part of the game.

Same. Only because they are letting people do refunds on previous orders if you get it. If even LRG are tweeting that they expect it to sell out quick...it's probably gonna be gone in seconds.

I use bots for sneakers etc, maybe able to use one for this, get the url from the 10am drop and grab a couple from 6pm drop. As doubt they'd change URL

All you need to do is log onto your account and have your payment ready- if you use Paypal for example, make sure you're logged onto that too. 99% of the time has worked for me.

Looks so good. Sucks about LRG getting the only physcial deal. Wonderboy still had a normal release, so that's weird. Surely the latter didn't sell well, but this is certainly has a bigger niche.

I double-dipped and got the Steam version- 1080P and 60 FPS. No options to change resolution, so I guess the question of it offering 4K on other platforms been answered. Appears to be the same game on all systems.

There are some additional graphics options on PC, but it looked the same. Did see some filtering options like CRT-style (for effects) but that was it.

Yeah it does I wanted to invite you actually but I didnt see you online.

But it keeps crashing for me at the end of the second boss, just tried one in coop. We made it to the boss of stage 1, her health was down to a small tick, and then the game just freezes. Music keeps going, I can press start and control the menu, but the game was frozen. After a minute the other dude quit and it threw me into the main menu saying "Client lobby has left" or something to that effect.

Dude I just want to get to the second stage lol

Cherry's the only one who can run until you get the SoR3 sprite characters unlocked. It sucks that the uu/dd dodgeroll thing from SoR3 isn't there either. Maybe that unlocks with the old characters too.

No? It feels like Streets Of Rage. The fan-made SoRR is where they changed up shit so maybe you're too used to that?

If you want something that feels more akin to SoRR, go check out Fight N'Rage. It should be required if you like beat-em-ups.

I feel like the fan made Streets of Rage Remake isn't so much 'mixed up', as it just takes the best from all three games and combines them. It also gives you options, so I think you can even turn a lot of stuff off or even change it to be from a different SoR. The only thing that's changed there is you can do a super move like in this game, on a cooldown and you can run/roll up down. Oh yeah and it has multiple paths.

I also been playing SoR2 on 3DS, and while it's a great game I still miss not being able to run or dodge roll. It just makes the combat and movement more fun in my opinion.

It also doesn't feel like SoR because I can't play with a D-pad because it doesn't allow me to walk diagonally though im not sure if thats on my controller/setup or a quirk in the game. You can use the analog stick to walk diagonally.

I have fighting Rage and I do think that's a great game, although I'm not too big a fan of the artstyle where you're just beating up criminal looking animals.

Yeah I'm digging it. Everyone is loving Cherry, and she's great but Axel still feels good to me. Really satisfying hits. No beating a grand upper I guess.

I don't know I guess it depends. It's annoying on hard having to do a whole level again because I ran out of lives. And then restarting you only get two lives and the damage goes fast on hard. When you get to the boss there is a big chance you might only have one life left, and the bosses have a lot of invincibility frames.

Got to Act 4 with Cherry, but on hard it's really hard. Just annoying enemy attacks which grab you while they flash red for one millisecond. I would try again on normal but honestly it's kind of eh so far. The graphics are nice. The music is..okay I guess. It's not great so far. I dunno

I am good I swear. Hard just seems unfair with enemies being able to hit me when I've grabbed someone and I'm stuck in the animation of hitting them, I get hit from another enemy who is doing a jumpkick animation which I cannot dodge. There is no downward roll to quickly change lane.

The Comissioner boss also seemed kinda cheesy with his fucking grabs you cannot dodge.

I want to play on Normal but Id have to restart over again since you cant change it on your current game.

Also in "Arcade" mode you only get one credit to finish the entire game and you cant save.

I'm guessing you chose hard thinking that normal would be baby easy like most games released nowadays? Everything that you're saying is cheesy is true, but that's how old beatemups were. You're definitely not gonna get through hard mode with no difficulties on your first playthrough.

I'm really enjoying it four stages in. Started with Axel, but switched to Blaze after I got game over on the first stage. I'm pulling off longer combos with her so far.

yeah the scoring seems heavily weighted towards high combos + surviving with a lot of health and stars. B is my best rating so far. Using Adam I had a strat against nora that just ruined her. I cleared another stage with 4 or 5 stars and that was a big boost to score.

I just played up to chapter 5? Maybe 6 on normal. Feels a lot more fair.

Oh yeah except when they throw 10 knife guys at you all running around when you're trying to kick the shit out of them (I guess I should have picked up the large lance whatever type weapon right away). I never really liked the knife guys in SOR but they always were pretty easy to dodge, but now they really throw them in there when you are already fighting dudes who can use Liu Kang's flying kick and the black dudes who can uppercut you.
