This thread will never ever be as fun as it was when neogaf imploded, followed by beseda freaking out about benji :goty2

I never understood why WOKE Beseda took the side of the white guy against multiple posters who are people of color. One might even say it's hypocritical.

plus the ongoing thing where ResetERA means literally nothing except it's a reference to the collapse of a site they try not to mention and probably have banned links to like TheBire

I'm just now realizing how stupid that branding is.   It's like founding a company called Not-IBM.   Or naming your porn XXX: This isn't Guardians of the Galaxy instead of "Nardians of the Gal-Assy."
Why didn't they call it XXX: This Aint Neogaf

speaking of volatile hostility:
honestly the EFF can get fucked on this one

look at where doing nothing's gotten us. i'm tired of fearmongering that leads to doing nothing. it always leads to doing fucking nothing. i'm tired of nothing being done. if you guys are such big fans of the status quo i hope you don't have to live with the consequences. more often than not, though, you reap what you sow.
Quote
no, fuck this

gun control is nice and i absolutely advocate for it, however the internet is a fucking problem and if you don't fucking see that by now there's no hope for you, and guess what, you're fucking complicit because you're defending the status quo
Quote
You are using your voice to be complicit in the state of affairs we are currently having to deal with. And you will defend that no matter how many graves we have to dig along the way.
Quote
I never said you wanted to see graves dug. I said that you are making arguments that will lead to more of the same, even when the bodies are still warm. Whether you are aware about it or not. That's what being complicit in the status quo means. It means you don't give a shit so long as you get your precious fucking cat memes or your endless regurgitations of the 2016 democratic primaries or your six hour long flat earth documentaries.

I for one am tired of the carnage that the unregulated internet is wreaking on our lives. Something needs to change.
Quote
Quote
I would consider liveleak a relatively important resource in the grand scheme of things
I don't give a shit what you consider. If it's used for this it needs to fucking go.
Quote
If you're defending the existance of sites sharing the video you can honestly get fucked mate. I don't give a shit about your wider argument when that's what it boils down to. You're inhumane.
Quote
Honestly, as a person living in Christchurch, a mere 30 minute walk away from the attacks, anyone defending the hosting of this video is fucking disgusting. There are so many shitheels in this thread being absolutely inhumane. I don't care if you're "overly concerned about state censorship". Take a step back and look at what you're doing. You mealy mouthed pieces of shit care so much about "free speech" that you don't care about the serious damage that the unregulated internet is having on our world. You two-faced "allies" balk at the idea of anything happening to the precious internet. Anything at all. Even to 8chan, a fucking pedophile ring. "Free speech" is NOTHING more than an excuse for you.

Defending this, using ANY argument, should be grounds for a fucking automatic ban. As a forum we're better than this. We should be better. We can be better.
Quote
If I get banned for this post, and I hope I don't because what I'm saying is correct, my closing argument is that nobody should hold their values so tightly that they lose any sense of basic humanity.
Quote
Take a moment to consider that we as a forum have stricter regulation on discussion surrounding Gamergate than we do a mass murder that many of our community members are very close to. We do not let people get away with showing their asses about Gamergate. We should not let them get away with showing their asses on this topic. Not if we give a shit about our community and the people in it.

Any discussion in the service of defending the hosting of this video in any form should be permaban worthy.

also this dude is in any thread about "free speech" to bitch about it:
Quote
I applaud the intent of this measure, but the chans, voat, gab, etc all need nuked from the internet permanently. Dens of Nazis, Pedophiles, Rapists, and the general scum of humanity do not need places to congregate and and easily radicalize people into their bullshit.

I'll never trust "Free speech" purists who think it's okay that this shit exists.

also reddit banned some huge subeddits (like the one people would post videos of people dying...) recently because of this
but they still haven't banned t_d despite it normalizing the neonaziism that lead towards this horrific event

websites like that can not be trusted to moderate themselves. they have shown their asses time and time again. a site-wide ban of 4chan and voat and all of these other sites makes perfect sense because they would start posting the objectionable content in different areas of the site if it was only partial-- they want to be associated with it. This is also such basic knowledge of how these sites operate that anyone arguing for a partial ban as an alternative to a whole one is automatically showcasing their ass for the whole public to see.

Dan absorbing his troll persona into his stupidity persona was the only way that was going to go with JeffDad at the helm, VinnyDad realized it was a lost cause and just encourages it. He's been trying to fix Abby but they won't keep her away from Alex's on-all-the-time-ism.

JeffDad has done well with Jason, and when he's alone with Ben he keeps him mostly in line. There's only so much you can do when Brad and Rorie have yet to return from the vacation they started seven years ago.

What the fuck does Brad does on the site anymore? Corporate apologist is not an actual position...

Yes... And?  ???

Counterpoint that might be distinguished mentally-challenged: doesn't stadia open up indie development to make games beyond retro throwbacks now that they don't have to target absolutely base level shitty systems to reach the widest population of players?

I'm serious, this shit was amazing.. my wife and I discovered all of this.. found a post someone made about it on IGN:

https://www.ign.com/boards/threads/forum-poster-pretends-to-be-girl-for-10-years.208030983/

Quote
Anyone ever hear of Brianna Haskins or BleepGGE? Perhaps an Evil Genius or Eevul Jenius?

There are accounts all over various gaming forums with these names; TeamXbox, GameSpot, GamersRepublic.net, etc. All girl gamers with elaborate back stories, especially "Brianna Haskins/BlleepGGE" who has 10's of thousands of posts across numerous forums.

In one colossal thread it was discovered that this was all the work of one lonely man, who had been posting as multiple accounts on the internet, including having them talk to each other, for over a decade:

http://wecravegamestoo.com/forums/off-topic-lounge/9851-thread-dumb.html

It's a LOOOONG thread.. but I believe worth the read.

The gist of it:

- *redacted* is a 37 year old man from Puerto Rico
- *redacted* invented a fake cartoon pop band, made up of girl gamers from all over the world, including Australia, Japan, the US, and Puerto Rico
- Across various forums it looks like this JJ Esteban posted as various females, that somewhat correlate with the locations of his fake pop band.. they even have gamertags with avatars that resemble his drawings
- His "australian" character for instance says "m8" and "mum" every other word
- Through the course of this JJ stole various pictures of females from around the web
- Elaborate stories include "Brianna Haskins", his main fake account.. that over 10 years or so at TXB and other forums told tales of being married, owning hot topic stores, and adopting a 1 year old from China.

A long-time poster at various forums known as "riotous" unraveled most all of it (he posts as GhostOfR in the thread).

I THINK it's pretty damn funny. But then again, I've posted at forums with this person for a few years and always thought they were kind of fake.

The latest development? JJ Esteban himself shows up, to explain some of it.. and say how mad he is about his "friend" Brianna using some of his identity... of course, his IP matches Brianna's.

Anyways, check it out!

There's quite a bit more we ended up finding.
On a previous forum where I used to post, I was a bit of a diva and one of the 'popular' members. So enter this girl poster who flirted with me for years and years, I eventually figured out she was a man playing catfish games (she admitted it) so I started flirting back heavily and as a result she got to fish longer due to my 'credibility' lmao

Stadia is by Google, and Google own Youtube.

This is the first console funded in part by alt right content creators and viewers such as PDP, Boogie, H3H3, and Jake Paul.

Stadia therefore is a Nazi console, and game streaming is the equivalent of the Nazi constitution.

I heard the ban site is affected by the boot-licking ISPs located in some freedom-hating shit-holes.

Reminder that the ResetEra Ban site is available on TOR: http://lpmrhm3ul3he6guy.onion/
Reminder that you should never use your ISPs DNS resolver.
Reminder that you should use DNScrypt: https://dnscrypt.info/

Rorie is fantastic :maf

Rorie should be on every feature and should start hosting the podcast. Both podcasts actually. Rorie is the voice that needs to be heard.

Think of all the asides and derails instead of the boring shit Brad, Alex and Ben are blabbering about. :lawd
